Theresa’s Cooking is a genuine replication of Grandmother’s Recipes or Grandmother’s cooking. With the sudden passing away of one parent after the other, Theresa found herself with her three siblings, two sisters and one brother suddenly under the supervision of her Grandparents who were handicapped by age, sicknesses and financial difficulties. At the tender age of being 08 years old, she had to find happiness in cooking. Cooking for her sisters, brother and old bed ridden grandparents. Initially it was only during the vacation months of “Orphanage School” at Mount Mary’s Convent in Bandra, Mumbai. Then at the age of 13 it became her sole responsibility to manage kitchen and home.

Every dish churned out by Theresa has some connection to her Grandmother. In all her dishes, there is some tip, trick or treat supplied by her Grandmother for whom cooking was everything in life. Ancient Grandmothers recipes of Theresa’s are being still promoted and practiced right in the home kitchen and the kitchens of Theresa’s Cookery Classes.

Many Chefs and Cooks say that Cooking is an Art that can be developed; some say that Cooking is a Science that can be mastered, but to Theresa good cooking is an act of love.
